Armenia’s economic activity in January-October 2015 increased by 3.5% from the same period of time in 2014, according to the latest numbers, released by the National Statistical Service (NSS).
NSS said consumer prices in the first ten months grew by 4.4% from the year before, while prices for industrial products decreased by 1%. During the reporting period, industrial output grew approximately by 4.6% to 1.063 trillion drams. The agricultural output surged by 11.6% to 857.7 billion drams.
Construction grew by 0.1% percent to 304.3 billion drams. Domestic trade turnover declined by 6.4% to 1.816.7 trillion drams and services grew by 2.8% to about 960.1 billion drams.
Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in January-October 2015 slashed by 20.4% to about $3.900.9 billion. The 2015 budget projects 4% (± 1.5%) inflation and a 4.1% GDP growth.-0-
