The Armenian community of Argentina announces Genocide centennial activities

la fotoThis afternoon the Armenian community of Argentina unveiled at a press conference the program of activities to be carried out on the centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

The press conference was held at “Hotel Intercontinental” in the city of Buenos Aires and was called by the Commission of the Armenian Genocide Centennial of Argentina. Interacted with the media present Carlos Manoukian, Head of Cultural Affairs of Armenian Center of Argentina, Sergio Nahabetian, President of the “Tekeyan” Armenian Cultural Association and Jorge Dolmadjian, representative of the Armenian Cultural Association, who in the presence of fifty journalists from radio, television, print and digital media, reported about the various commemorative activities planned and answered questions of reporters, which focused on various aspects of the history of the Armenian Genocide, the Turkish denial, and the current conflict with Azeribayán over Nagorno Karabakh, among other issues.

In turn, representatives of the Armenian communities of Córdoba and Rosario, presented the schedule of activities in their respective cities.

After the announcement a banquet was held and the reporters took folders with the full program of activities and information about Armenia and the genocide.
