Buenos Aires papered with “Forget Me Not” flower

11051087_811782768907018_2089514152_nThousands of posters with the “Forget me not” floer, logo of the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, are placed in the streets of Buenos Aires and subway stations.

The posters, which appeared these days, include the phrase “For you Armenia”, and announce the upcoming commemoration activities of the centennial of the Armenian Genocide to be held in the city:

– March 28: Symphony concert directed by Santiago Chotsourian at Palermo.

– April 25: Cultural and artistic event during the International Book Fair of Buenos Aires.

– April 29: Central Act at Luna Park stadium.

There will be also a  Mass in honor of the victims of the Armenian Genocide at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Buenos Aires, officiatted by the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Cardinal Mario Poli, and a march to the residence of the Turkish ambassador in Argentina.

Earlier this year, it was already made a big poster campaign on the streets, showing first the logo of “Forget Me Not” flower, and then revealing its meaning.
